What the Plantation Yields
  • First harvest around year 3, then yearly harvests for 20+ years
  • A mature vine gives roughly 0.5-1 kg of green beans per season
  • About 3.5 kg green beans dry down to roughly 800 g-1 kg cured vanilla
  • Cured vanilla has sold around Rs 22,000-40,000+ per kg in strong markets (prices move with international supply)
  • Harvest proceeds are shared with farmer-partners as per agreement

* Yields and prices are indicative; agriculture and commodity markets vary season to season.

Why This Works for Farmers
  • You skip the hardest parts. Training vines, morning hand-pollination and curing are handled by plantation experts.
  • Asset, not expense. Your plants keep producing year after year - one investment, 20+ years of harvests.
  • A crop with a moat. Each flower opens for only one day and must be pollinated by hand - supply cannot explode overnight.
  • Start with any slab. Build to 300 plants at your own pace: 50, 100, 150, 200 or 300 at a time.
  • Real end uses. Your crop becomes flavour for ice cream, bakery, sweets, perfume and skincare.
The Truth About Price

Why Vanilla Is So Expensive

Hand Pollination

In India there is no reliable natural pollinator. Every flower must be pollinated by hand - usually in a morning window of 1.5-2 hours.

Long Wait

Plants fruit after about 2-3 years. After flowering, pods take roughly 4-6 months to mature, then months more to cure.

Careful Curing

Beans are blanched or steamed, then dried and conditioned so the famous aroma develops - that process multiplies value.
